Collett Payroll Services Ltd sponsor an 8 year old boy to go to school in the very poor country of The Gambia in West Africa.
He is taught the same subjects as the Uk including computer studies and is doing very well.
Every child has to pay to go to school and if the families cannot afford it then the child doesn’t go as it’s not compulsory.
The people of The Gambia really want to help themselves out of the poverty that they are in, but if they are not educated they cannot get a decent job and without a decent job they cannot afford to send their children to school so it is a catch 22 situation.
With our help in educating one child, he will then get a good job to help his family financially and also when he has children he will be able to educate them.
This is only one child, there are many others that need help, so if you would like to donate or sponsor a child yourselves, please get in touch and we can help other children get the education they deserve.
